Isolation and Recovery Site spaces of Toronto Shelters increasing

60 rooms in Isolation and Recovery Site for homeless people with corona-virus disease is to open in Toronto. The shelter sites are to support homeless people who need more complex health support for covid-19 care. More staff and hospital transportation are available in this service. The seniors, tested positive for the virus, and homeless people are in priority to be moved to the rooms. The program is pet- and family-friendly, and children can remain with their parents on-site. City of Toronto announced

The sites came up with the City announcement on January 14 regarding opening two new shelters in communities which operate 24/7 to help with homeless people as the coldest month approaches. The two new shelters help the homeless people with additional physical distance spaces and provide support with mental and physical health care besides their basic needs.
